A Christian Ministerial Training School |
Founded in 1995, RIBS is a unique ministerial training school in the stream of Evangelical Christianity with a Charismatic emphasis. We subscribe to the historic bibically orthodox beliefs of Christianity such as that expressed in the Apostle's Creed and we adhere to the Bible as the Word of God.
Our guiding Scriptures are these:
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast. For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them" (Ephesians 2:8–10).
"Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth" (2 Timothy 2:15).
"But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him" (John 4:23).
Our students are from many different churches and denominations. They are serious about walking with God and desire to serve Him to the highest degree in their life and ministry. Many are pastors and church leaders and most all serve God in their local churches. Others are preparing themselves to start ministries and/or churches.
Dr. William Suttles is the founder and director of this school. He has been serving God for 50 years in many different capacities: Elder, Pastor, Teacher, and Radio Minister. He has a Bachelor's Degree in History from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill (1969) and three graduate degrees: Master of Divinity, Master of Theology, and Doctor of Philosophy of Religion, having studied at the Bank Street School of Education in New York City, the Graduate Theological Union and the Church Divinity of School of the Pacific in Berkeley, California, and Southeastern Baptist Theological Seminary in Wake Forest, North Carolina.
