Aimed at committed Christian couples, this Men's Seminar on How To Be the Husband of a Happy Wife is "a teaching that needs to be heard by every Christian husband or husband-to-be." Most Christian husbands want to make their wives happy-they just don't know how to go about it. This teaching addresses those areas of misunderstanding of a man's role in the marriage relationship that will help him to grasp his God-given calling and potential to make a real change in his relationship with his wife. 3 CD set with notes. |
Divorce & Remarriage: A Biblical Perspective is a complete exposition of what the Bible has to say about divorce and re-marriage. Many Christians remain in limbo or under a cloud of guilt or shame, not knowing exactly where they stand with God in regards to a divorce. This teaching will make it clear exactly what God allows and blesses and what you can do about it to make sure you are in his will for your life. There is no reason for a Christian to be confused about this issue. This straight-forward and compassionate outlook will bring this subject into clear focus for you. 3 CD set with notes. |
Student Apologetics Seminar: How to Succeed in College Without Losing Your Faith . . . or Your Mind. Instructor, Dr. William Suttles, draws upon his experience as a student and as a professor to give advice on how to interact as a person of faith in today's secular university setting. Included in this three CD set are discussions on: Why so many Christian young people are living a "double life," the vulnerability of "being on your own," relating to professors who challenge your beliefs as a Christian, and gauging your commitment. Also persuasive answers are given to such questions as: Is the Truth relative? Do science and Christianity mix? Do you have to believe in evolution? Can you believe the Bible? Is Christianity the only true religion? If God is all powerful and God is all good, then why does evil exist? In this three hour teaching along with a full set of class notes and handouts you will be better equipped to face the challenges to your Christian faith which often occur in college. You will learn more about what it means to "Love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, . . . and with all your mind" (Matthew 22:37). |

| Job is one of the most misunderstood books of the Bible with one of the most important messages for believers. In this profound teaching Dr. William Suttles explores the mystery of why evil exists in a world governed by an all powerful, all good God. 3 CD set with notes (also available on cassettes). |
| 6. Books |
| Dead Orthodoxy: Heretics in the Truth confronts the notion that the Truth is all that matters in Christian theology. Suttles argues that without the real involvement of the "Spirit of Truth," i.e., the Holy Spirit, it is possible to be a "heretic in the truth." This book is a Charismatic critique of an Evangelical theology which gives only lip service to the Holy Spirit, but denies Him in practice. The Real Truth is a matter of "Spirit & Truth," without which correct doctrine is an empty shell. 57 pages. |
| Spirit & Truth: The Perfecting of Knowing is a philosophical-theological epistemological paradigm which seeks to establish through reason the necessity of faith for knowledge. Credo ut intelligam: "I believe in order that I may understand" is a Christian affirmation which not only goes back to early church theology, but is expressed time and time again in the Bible itself. In this book Dr. William Suttles demonstrates why an "appropriate faith" is the effectual condition for all true knowledge and knowing. "All knowledge," he maintains, "is faith-based," and therefore the Christian approach to knowledge and knowing is not lacking in any regard, but is, in fact, comprehensive and compelling as a way to know the truth. This book is written with the non-believer in mind. 96 pages. |
